Nurturing the Potential of our Asian Under Fives

This report looks at the rapidly increasing Asian under-five population in New Zealand, their home environment, as well as the response of Early Childhood Education (ECE) centres to this changing demographic. In particular, it examines their experiences around maintaining their cultural understanding and language skills as they enter early childhood education.
