The Foundation welcomes three new board members

Published17.9.2024

Foreign Minister Winston Peters has announced the appointment of three new trustees to the Board of the Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono.

Hone McGregor, Professor David Capie and John Boswell join the Asia New Zealand Foundation board as trustees effective from 1 October 2024.

This is following the appointment of Bede Corry, Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade, who joined the board as an ex-officio member.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our Trustees - Te Poa Karoro (Paul) Morgan, Pulotu Tupe Solomon-Tanoa’i and Ziena Jalil – whose three year terms will end in October.

Paul, Pulotu and Ziena have all played an integral role in guiding the Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono over the last couple of years, participating in and supporting many of our activities, and contributing to enhancing New Zealand's relationships with Asia.
