Rethinking Leadership Hui 2025
The Asia New Zealand Foundation Leadership Network is now receiving expressions of interest to attend a Rethinking Leadership Hui.

Participants will meet over the course of two days from 21-23 February 2025. The programme will include a networking dinner on Friday 21 February followed by 1.5 days of workshops and activities facilitated by Dr Suze Wilson, Massey University School of Management, Massey University.
What is the purpose of the Rethinking Leadership Hui?
The purpose of the hui is to:
enable critical reflection on leading and leadership.
allow participants to consider what it means to be a leader in both New Zealand and Asia.
address effective leadership skills, share experiences, and discuss how good leadership can lead to impactful social change.
Selection criteria
This opportunity is only available to current Leadership Network members who are based in New Zealand.
As places and funding are limited, a selection process will take place. Preference will be given to network members who:
can demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about leadership, and sharing their leadership stories.
can demonstrate an interest in having challenging discussions about leaders/leadership in New Zealand and Asia.
are keen to unpack and question their understanding of being a leader and leadership, as well as share their own stories.
have demonstrated leadership in their workplace, community, and/or in achieving the network’s vision.
Costs
Costs associated with attending the Rethinking Leadership Hui will be paid for by the Asia New Zealand Foundation.
The Foundation will cover:
accommodation
return economy travel
meals
planned activities.
Participants will be responsible for getting to and from their local airport, and personal spending money.
