Nick Siu

Director Business and Entrepreneurship



Nick started his career at a national law firm after graduating from Auckland University with a BCom / LLB and being awarded the University of Auckland Scholarship Prize in Marketing. He has since gone on to have over 20 years’ experience running businesses and commercial entities.

He has founded several businesses, most recently a successful advertising agency that represented multinational clients across New Zealand and Australia, a company in healthcare, and two FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) companies in the USA and Japan, both in alternative dairy and food science.

His avocadomilk product is sold in over 2000 stores in the USA and has been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon & Good Morning USA.

With his wife Sachie Nomura, Nick co-founded Sachie’s Kitchen, a cooking school in Auckland that also has a nationwide range of Asia-inspired food products.

Nick has won global awards for production innovation and brand development and is regularly called upon to commentate in the media and at business events on Asia business topics.

Nick was an active member of the Foundation’s Leadership Network for a decade. He describes himself as a “devoted chauffeur and dirty-sock-picker-upper” for his son Zach.
