Jake Law
Jake holds a Bachelor of Chinese Language and Culture, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary) from the University of Auckland.
In 2022, Jake was elected to the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board and is the youngest elected member in the North Auckland region.
Between 2018 and 2021, Jake lived and worked in Shanghai, where he taught English, drama, and public speaking at a private primary school. He has also spent time living in Japan and Korea.
Jake identifies as a member of the rainbow community and is of Pākehā and Tongan descent.
With a passion for community development, representation, and forming intercultural connections, Jake is incredibly excited to be a part of the Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whitau Tūhono Leadership Network.
