Call for applications: Leadership Network Arts Hui
Join us for a thought-provoking hui that explores the deep connections between Asia and New Zealand through the arts. Open to Asia New Zealand Foundation Leadership Network members, this is perfect for anyone eager to learn, reflect, and connect—no artistic background is required.
The hui will examine the ways arts serve as a bridge deepening the connections between Aotearoa New Zealand and Asia.
This event will bring together thought leaders, creatives, and professionals from the artistic realm to discuss and reflect on the role of art in fostering cross-cultural understanding and leadership. Participants will:
discover how the arts can serve as a tool for leadership, collaboration, and innovation between New Zealand and Asia.
discover the intersection of leadership, art, and creativity.
hear from artists and arts practitioners on their experiences in Asia and how that impacts the New Zealand arts sector.
The hui will be held from 24–25 May at Te Ara Ātea - Selwyn District Council community centre, Canterbury.
The Foundation will reimburse travel to and from Christchurch and accommodation if you are located out of town (based on domestic travel costs in Leadership Network FAQs).
This hui is a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the artistic and cultural ties between New Zealand and Asia, engage in meaningful dialogue, build connections with fellow Leadership Network members and learn about the Foundation’s arts programme.
More information will be provided closer to the time of the event.
