Xavier Walsh

Xavier is active in the Living Wage Movement and Te Ohu Whakawhanaunga, working to improve outcomes for the local communities.

They are a lifelong Tāmaki Makaurau resident and active community member.

Xavier is currently affiliated with Waipapa Taumata Rau - University of Auckland, conducting Industrial Relations research on worker grievances and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Xavier is passionate about workers' rights and Te Tiriti issues that contribute to a better Aotearoa New Zealand. They are half Sri Lankan and completed a Japanese major on their Bachelor of Arts.
