Awarded the 2019 New Zealand Youth Leadership Award, and one of the youngest recipients of the Prime Minister's Scholarship to Latin America, Iri spent the first half of this year in Medellin, Colombia, before becoming the youngest delegate in the UN Youth GlobalisationTour to Asia.
Touring Vietnam, China, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan, Iri met with diplomats, business executives, innovators and entrepreneurs within the Asian setting, enabling her to begin contributions to strengthening the Asia-New Zealand relationship.
Iribegan working for Deloitte New Zealand when she was 18, making her one of the youngest ever-employed by a Big Four in the world, and the youngest in New Zealand history.
