Media Opportunities
Each year, through its Media Travel Grants, the Asia:NZ media programme offers New Zealand journalists the chance to travel to Asia to research and prepare stories. Read on to find out the annual deadlines and criteria for application.
In addition to the Travel Grants, the Media Discretionary Grants allows for partial assistance to correspondents travelling to Asia. There are no specific criteria for applying for the discretionary funding: project details and circumstances will be judged on merit.
We also support media staff exchanges, internships and work placements within a variety of Asian media outlets.
