Raising awareness and understanding of Asia
The Asia New Zealand Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of Asia and strengthening New Zealand’s links with the Asian region. The Foundation works in the areas of education, media, culture, business, research and leadership development.
We are seeking a content manager to coordinate the content on the Foundation’s website – www.asianz.org.nz
– and social media platforms so that it is current, fresh and dynamic. At the same time the Content Manager will work with staff across all programme areas to identify features and solutions to transform information into an engaging web experience for our visitors.
This hands-on role encompasses coordinating, editing and writing content and working with staff and external contributors to reflect all of the Foundation’s activities and initiatives and the New Zealand-Asia relationship.
Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in a communications-related field with a minimum of three years professional copy-editing or relevant experience managing content and production for high traffic websites. You will have the ability to write, edit and proofread and a reputation for exceptional editing skills. An understanding of current issues affecting New Zealand’s ties with the Asian region is desirable.
This role is for a fixed-term contract period of three years and is based in Wellington.
